About

I build multi-agent systems as an AI engineer at Svenska Spel.

  1. 01First code

Started with a Python course in high school.

  2. 02First model

My bachelor thesis: a neural network searching Large Hadron Collider data for signs of dark matter.

  3. 03Since then

Reinforcement learning, computer vision, LLM agents, and a NeurIPS paper on how vision-language models handle uncertainty.

  4. 04Off hours

Bouldering and Deadlock, which is where my side project Deadbase comes from.

Work

  1. Jan 2026 – now

    Svenska Spel

    AI Engineer

A production multi-agent system for automated marketing workflows.

    • Orchestration and tool use: how agents are routed, coordinated and allowed to act.
    • Evaluation, guardrails, observability and cloud infrastructure that keep the system reliable.
    • Retrieval and context management that ground the agents in internal information.
  2. Jun – Aug 2025

    Mycronic

    Deep Learning Intern

Industrial computer vision from scarce data, in the deep learning R&D team.

    • Deep learning research on scarce, imbalanced and out-of-domain data.
    • A diffusion-based anomaly generator that produces synthetic training data.
    • Benchmarks of domain adaptation and domain generalisation under limited data and distribution shift.
  3. Jan – Jun 2025

    Swedish Defence Research Agency

    Master's Thesis Researcher

Reinforcement learning for simulated air combat.

    • Trained agents to evade a missile in a beyond-visual-range air-combat simulation.
    • Skill embeddings learned from expert demonstrations, with an imitation-regularisation objective that weighs task performance against staying close to the expert.
    • Evaluated task performance, and how closely the agents matched the expert, on starting conditions they had never seen.
  4. Jun – Jul 2024

    SLB

    Software Engineering Intern

Real-time visualisation of seismic data at the Stavanger office.

    • Seismic volume attributes in Unity-based scientific visualisation applications.
    • Fragment shaders that render seismic data in real time inside a virtual twin.
  5. Jul 2022 – Dec 2023

    Prevas

    Software Developer Intern

Sensor software, calibration and real-time 3D, alongside my studies in Uppsala.

    • Multithreaded C++, C# and .NET software for hardware automation and sensor processing.
    • A cross-platform C++ application that reads inertial sensor data over USB-C, with Kalman filtering for motion estimation.
    • An OpenGL 3D engine that shows a sensor's orientation and motion in real time.
    • Automated calibration of inertial measurement units through a C# control system communicating over TCP/IP and CAN bus.

Research

“a dog”
→One point
One caption. Which photo fits?
  • StandardA standard vision-language model maps a caption to a single point, so it only matches the nearest image.
  • AsymVLMAsymVLM turns the caption into a distribution on the hypersphere, so it covers every image the caption could describe.
  • WhyImages stay points. A caption like “a dog” carries high aleatoric uncertainty, ambiguity in the data itself, while a photo shows one specific scene, so its aleatoric uncertainty is low. The method builds on that asymmetry.

Imitation Learning with Skill Embeddings

Fighter pilots train in simulators against computer-controlled opponents, which should fly well but also behave like real pilots. I trained such an opponent with reinforcement learning to evade an incoming missile, guided by skills learned from expert pilot flights. It kept its performance, even improved it from unseen starting conditions, and flew in a more human-like way.

Projects

Kaggle competition · multi-step tool attacks

AI Agent Security

My first Kaggle competition. I built an attack generator that searches for prompts that make an LLM agent misuse its own tools, several steps after the attack is planted.

Write-up and code on GitHub ↗

Finished 473rd of 4,251 teams, top 11.1%.

An illustration of the search. The attack sits in the inbox and only fires steps later, when the agent reads it while doing something else.
